Now in her fifth year teaching at Salt Lake Academy, Rebecca Schill studied at Columbia University and Barnard College after high school. She has traveled to 17 countries and has taught students from 20 of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries. She believes that all students would benefit from being bilingual, because as Frank Smith once said, “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.” Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and planning new adventures with her children.
