Salt Lake Academy High School is a Utah Public Charter School. Students must be a local Utah resident to attend. We accept girls and boys, and you do not need to be selected to attend our school.
We do not require students to live on campus. We are a public charter school where anybody who has been selected via the lottery process can attend.
We reserve the right to decline admission to students who have been expelled / suspended from their previous school or have other pending disciplinary issues or if false, misleading, or incomplete information is included in enrollment documents. However, each student’s enrollment request will be looked at on a case-by-case basis in these instances.
Salt Lake Academy has high academic expectations for all players on our sports teams. Our student-athletes are required to carry the minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 with no more than 1 F. If you apply with less than a 2.0 cumulative GPA you might not be enrolled in a sports class or eligible to play on a team.
In addition, we expect our student-athletes to act as leaders in demonstrating excellence in citizenship on campus and in the community. Regular and punctual attendance is a cornerstone of the academic day. As you apply, please carefully consider your ability to be here ready to learn on time - every day!
