Maria “Malena” Camacho-Calderon is an educator with over a decade of experience serving in supportive roles. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and is deeply committed to supporting students and educators through literacy-focused, culturally responsive, and strengths-based practices. Malena believes that students’ languages, identities, and emotional well-being are central to learning and should be honored in every classroom. Her work centers on collaboration, relationship-building, and empowering both students and teachers to thrive. Outside of school, Malena enjoys reading, being a proud soccer mom, spending time with her family, and loving on her dogs.
