My purpose for working at Salt Lake Academy is to support the Academy's strong sense of community and values while building our students' capacity to think and strengthening their will to persevere in any environment.

The essence of education is about facilitating the learning of our students. My teaching philosophy is centered on empowering students to become lifelong learners through a student-centered approach, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and encouraging a growth mindset while creating a nurturing, safe, collaborative, and inclusive learning environment built on trust and compassion. Through these principles, I aim to inspire and guide our students to thrive personally, academically, and in their future endeavors.
