The 1,000 Dreams Scholarship provides one-time educational assistance for currently enrolled high school or college-aged women throughout the United States.

This can include assistance for needs including, but not exclusive to:

  • educational conferences
  • instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits

The BLM² Scholarship Foundation program is designed to address the financial needs of minority college students and award outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from an accredited, four-year college or university with financial assistance.

The Utah State Promise is a “last dollar” scholarship, meaning it is applied to your remaining tuition & student body fees after all other aid is applied. What is considered other aid & what order is it applied? First, Federal Pell Grant (FAFSA), and then second, USU will apply other scholarships (e.g., institutional awards, department, Regents, outside/3rd party). After all aid & scholarships are applied, USU pays any remaining balance due.

State of Utah Scholarships

The Utah Promise Scholarship is the first-ever statewide needs-based scholarship program in Utah. It is available to recent high school graduates & adult learners at Utah’s public colleges & universities, as well as Utah’s public technical colleges. The Utah Promise Scholarship will cover up to tuition & fees for up to two years. The Trailblazer Promise is automatically awarded at Utah Tech through a completed FAFSA Application to those who qualify. This process happens after the 3rd week of each semester. If you are awarded the Trailblazer Promise, you will receive an email from the Financial Aid Office to your university account. There is no separate application required except a completed FAFSA Application.

This scholarship fills the gap to cover tuition for students who receive the Pell Grant (FAFSA) but may still owe additional tuition. For students who qualify, the cost of a two-year degree will be covered by federal aid and UVU. Your first two years are covered!
