I will be teaching ELL Expanded Learning; Sports Journalism/Creative Writing; Language Arts 9.

I am married to a longsuffering woman named Linnea; I have two daughters, Ana (31) and Janicka (27).

I am originally from Anchorage, Alaska; however, I was more or less raised in Murray, Utah (Go Spartans!).
Hobbies *
I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, camping, playing ice hockey (old guys leagues).

I'm new but, thus far, I'd have to say it's the friendly faculty/staff and the enthusiasm I sense for this coming school year. 
what is your purpose for working at SLA*
To help our students overcome any fear and loathing they might feel for the English language.

A teacher's job is three-fold: 1) to introduce students to truth and beauty; 2) to assist students in apprehending truth and beauty; and 3) to instill in them a desire to make truth and beauty regular parts of their lives.
